(401) 568-2411 or (401) 568-5600
St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church of Pascoag, and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Harrisville have combined their Religious Education program.
Volunteer parishioners, who live according to the precepts of the Catholic Church, teach Religious Education classes for our parish children grades 1-10. Classes begin on September 19, 2018 through April 24, 2019.
Classes are held every Wednesday evening. Students in grades 1-6, will have class from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in the church hall unless noted on the Religious Education calendar. Students in grades 7 and 8 will have class from 7-8 p.m. Students in grade 9 and 10 will have class from 7-8:15 p.m. Classes will begin promptly at their starting time and end at the appropriate time. There will be no classes on holiday weeks, school vacations and inclement weather pending school cancellations. Parent participation helps strengthen the faith life of the child and the entire family.
Classes should not be interrupted unless there is an emergency. Parents wishing to speak with a teacher should schedule an appointment through either Rectory Office.
If your child has a learning disability, food allergy or other pertinent information that the Teacher and Pastor should be aware of please contact the rectory. If your child will be absent due to an illness or an emergency please notify either rectory by phone or email as soon as able.
Discipline problems will be referred to the Parents and Fr. Scott Carpentier, Pastor.
All registered students must attend weekly Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation. This will help strengthen your child’s faith and deepen their spirituality.

- Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God – January 1st.
- Ascension Thursday – May 30th.
- Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – August 15th
