“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 4:6-7

The Sign Of The Cross
In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins because of Your just punishments, but most of all because I have offended You my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

Our Father
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Morning Prayer
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I will begin this day. I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night. I will do my best to make all I do today pleasing to You and in accordance with Your will. My dear mother Mary watch over me this day. My Guardian Angel, take care of me. St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me…
My Daily Prayer
O My God, I place my trust and confidence in You, who will reward the good and punish the wicked. I believe in You and accept everything You have taught and revealed. I believe that in one God there are three Divine Persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I believe that God the Son became Man without ceasing to be God. He is Jesus Christ, my lord and my Savior, the Redeemer of the human race. He died on the Cross for my salvation and eternal happiness. O my God, give me a strong faith. Help me to believe with lively faith. O my God, all-good and all-merciful, I sincerely hope to be saved. Help me to do all that is necessary to gain eternal salvation. I have committed many sins in my life, but now I turn away from them. I am sorry, truly sorry for all of them, because I have offended You, my God, Who are all-good, all-perfect, all-holy and all-merciful. I love you, O my God, with all my heart. Please forgive me for having offended You. I promise that, with Your help, I will never offend You again. My God, have mercy on me.

Grace Before and After Meals
Before: Bless O Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
After: We give Thee thanks for all Thy benefits, O Almighty God, who live and reign world without end. Amen. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Prayer to St. Michael
Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Prayer for Vocations
Lord of the harvest, your Word finds a home in our hearts, calls us into community and invites us to generous service of the human family. Bless with courage and spirit your priestly people, called to full participation in the one Body of Christ. May many choose to respond in public service to your call offered in Jesus’ name Amen.
Penitential Act
I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
Prayer For All Needs
We beg you, Lord, to help and defend us.
Deliver the oppressed. Pity the insignificant. Raise the fallen. Show yourself to the needy. Heal the sick. Bring back those of your people who have gone astray. Feed the hungry. Lift up the weak. Take off the prisoners’ chains.
May every nation come to know that you alone are God, that Jesus is your Child, that we are your people, the sheep that you Pasture. Amen.
Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, sanctify me; Body of Christ, save me; Blood of Christ, inebriate me; Water from the side of Christ, wash me; Passion of Christ, strengthen me; O good Jesus, hear me; Within your wounds hide me; Separated from you, let me never be; From the evil one protect me; At the hour of my death, call me; And close to you bid me; That with your saints, I may be, praising you forever and ever. Amen.
PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO ARE PERSECUTED
Almighty, everlasting God, look with compassion on all those who suffer persecution for justice’ sake. Grant them grace to carry their cross with patience in the name of your beloved Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let the chalice pass from them if it be your holy will: yet, in all things, may your will be done. Grant to those who persecute, light to see the truth, and the grace of mercy and forgiveness, for they know not what they do. Mary, Mother of Jesus, Comfort of the Afflicted, Help thy children in their time of bitter trial. O Lord our God, by the sign of your Holy Cross, Deliver us from our enemies. Amen
Blessed Virgin Mary
Prayer For Peace
Mary, Queen of Peace, save us all, who have so much trust in you, from wars, hatred, and oppression. Make us all learn to live in peace, and educate ourselves for peace, do what is demanded by justice and respect the rights of every person, so that peace may be firmly established. Amen.
Memorare
The Memorare, a prayer for help, invites us to ask the Blessed Virgin Mother for her assistance, and her grace, especially when we feel most troubled in our daily lives.
Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.
Saint Joseph

St. Joseph
Saint Joseph, patron of the universal Church, watch over the Church as carefully as you watched over Jesus, help protect it and guide it as you did with your adopted son. Amen
Prayer To Saint Joseph For The Whole Church
O Glorious Saint Joseph, you were chosen by God to be the foster father of Jesus, the most pure spouse of Mary, ever Virgin, and the head of the Holy Family. You have been chosen by Christ’s Vicar as the heavenly Patron and Protector of the Church founded by Christ. Protect the Sovereign Pontiff and all bishops and priests united with him. Be the protector of all who labor for souls amid the trials and tribulations of this life; and grant that all peoples of the world may be docile to the Church without which there is no salvation. Dear Saint Joseph, accept the offering I make to you. Be my father, protector, and guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me purity of heart and a love for the spiritual life. After your example, let all my actions be directed to the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and your own paternal heart. Finally, pray for me that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Joseph for Success in Work
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my many sins; to work with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, prudence and patience, never surrendering to weariness or difficulties; to work, above all, with purity of intention, and with detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after thy example, O Patriarch Joseph. Such shall be my motto in life and death. Amen.
MEMORARE to St. Joseph
Remember, most pure spouse of Mary, ever Virgin, my loving protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to our protection or asked for your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding, therefore, in your goodness, I come before you and humbly implore you. Despise not my petitions, foster-father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen.

Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Prostrate before You, Lord Jesus Christ, we consecrate to Your Sacred Heart ourselves and everything dear to us: our thoughts, words and actions; our sorrows, our hopes, our relatives and friends. We desire to belong entirely to You, to know all things, and to despise the pleasures, riches and honours of this world and everything, which could be an obstacle in Your service.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, teach us, by Your example in the stable of Bethlehem and by Your whole life, meekness and humility. Teach us, by Your agony and sufferings on the Cross, patience and resignation to the holy Will of God. Teach us, in the mystery of the holy Eucharist, to admire Your power, wisdom and love. Three hundred years ago, You revealed to Saint Margaret Mary Your desire to receive the special homage of Your creatures. In obedience to that divine entreaty, behold us at Your feet to consecrate to Your service and love our hearts, our family and our home in a special manner.
Heart of Jesus, in the name of Mary and under the patronage of Saint Joseph and Saint Patrick, we consecrate to You our whole household of faith. Like Nazareth, may it always be a centre of faith, hope, charity and peace; a hive of prayer and true zeal for Your glory. Guide our lives, direct our steps, and sustain us in all our ways. We earnestly consecrate to You all the trials, afflictions, joys and events of our domestic parish life.
We beseech You to pour Your blessing upon every member of this parish family: those who are gathered here and those who are absent; those who are living and those who are dead. With confidence, we entrust them all to You. If, among them, there be any who have lost Your grace and grieved Your loving Heart by sin, with deepest sorrow we now desire to offer reparation and implore forgiveness for them.
We beg Your mercy and grace, also, for every family in the whole world. O Sacred Heart, shelter the cradle of the newborn babe; bless the child at school; guide the vocation of young men and women; sweeten the lot of the sufferer; support the aged; console the widow; be a Father to the orphan.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, we entrust to You our own dear country and all those, who govern us.
O Jesus, source and infinite ocean of mercy, we beseech You assist us in the sufferings and agony of death. Unite us, then, still more closely to Your Heart and to the Heart of Your Immaculate Mother. Be our refuge and our place of rest; and when our souls have taken their flight to dwell for ever in Your Sacred Heart, may we see again in heaven every member of this family which we now so earnestly and unitedly desire to consecrate without reserve to You. Amen.
Divine Mercy
The Power of the Divine Mercy Novena

The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a recent devotion revealed by Our Lord to St. Maria Faustina, a Polish nun. On Good Friday, 1937, Christ appeared to Saint Faustina and asked her to recite this chaplet for nine days, starting on Good Friday and ending on the Octave of Easter (the Sunday after Easter Sunday), now known as Divine Mercy Sunday.
The chaplet is most often recited during those nine days, but it can be prayed at any time of the year, and Saint Maria Faustina recited it almost unceasingly.
A standard rosary can be used to recite the chaplet and it takes only about 20 minutes.
How to recite the chaplet:
1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross
2. Pray the Opening Prayers (the second prayer is repeated three times)
“You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelope the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.”
“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!” (recite three times)
3. Pray the Our Father
4. Pray the Hail Mary
5. Say the Apostles’ Creed
6. Pray the Prayer “Eternal Father”
On the Our Father bead before each decade, pray the following prayer:
“Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. Amen.”
7. Pray the Prayer “For the Sake of His Sorrowful Passion” Ten Times.
On each of the Hail Mary beads in each decade, pray the following prayer:
“For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
8. Conclude with (three times):
“Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

Prayers/Discernment of Vocation
Lord, I want to be happy in this life and spend eternity with You in the life to come.
From the first moment of my existence, You knew my vocation. Please help me discover Your plan for my life.
Help me to know myself. Help me to know my fears. Help me to want what You want. Help me to trust You completely.
Send Your Holy Spirit into my mind and heart so I can see the gifts You have given me, and hear Your call to serve the Church. Increase my desire to bring others to You and to help them reach heaven.
Mary Most Holy, Mother of God, pray for me, that I can discover my vocation and have the courage to respond in faith. Amen

Six Ways to Discover My Vocation
How can I know God’s plan for my life?
1. PRAYER. Prayer is a conversation with God – not just saying prayers, but speaking to the Lord fro your heart. Every day, read the Bible and talk with Jesus as if he were your best friend. Ask him to reveal his plan for you: “Jesus, I want what you want. Here I am Lord; I come to do your will.” Trust completely that God has a plan for you.
2. SACRAMENTS. The soul is the window through which we can see God and hear his voice. If the window is dirty because of sin, it must be cleaned through Confession so we can be in union with God. Why ou receive Communion, ask Jesus to show you your vocation.
3. GOOD INFORMATION. It is impossible to discover your vocation without good information. What does it mean to have a holy Christian marriage? What do priests do? What is it like to be a religious sister or brother? Find good information online at www.foryourvocation.org, then take what you have learned back to prayer.
4. THE BLESSED MOTHER. Mary is the ultimate example of openness to the will of God. Are you open to God’s will for you? Pray three Hail Mary’s ever day, specifically to know your vocation and have the courage to follow it.
5. GO ON RETREAT. Miracles happen on retreats! One of the surest ways to discover God’s plan for you is to enter into silence and prayer over an extended period. Ask your Vocation Director to help you find a good retreat.
6. GET ADVICE. Don’t try to discern your vocation alone, without the help of the Church. Talk to a sister, priest, or deacon you trust.
When the time comes, you must act! Move in the direction your heart tells you, confident that God will never send you where his grace cannot sustain you!

Prayers For Our Men and Women Of The U.S. Military
Prayer for the Safety of a Soldier
Almighty and eternal God, those who take refuge in you will be glad and forever will shout for joy. Protect these soldiers as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength, and keep them safe from all evil and harm. May the power of your love enable them to return home, in safety, that with all who love them, they may ever praise you for your loving care. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Please remember members of the U.S. military; Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, and their families in your daily prayers as well as our Veterans.

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.
